This world has nothing to offer the man who does not wish to be something. But it is his error to expect otherwise. For he is necessarily a liar; if he wasn't, he would allow himself to rot.

He still wishes to be. He just wishes to be in sincerity—to partake in the show yet renounce his role as an actor. But this is a world of the actor. Sincerity is only granted to the deluded. Seeing that all the world's a stage, he is therefore condemned to the life of the performer.
